Next stop: Syria?

It is a tribute to Hafez al-Assad's reasonableness as a diplomat and irresponsibility as a leader that Syria is the only country called a sponsor of terrorism by the State Department that has diplomatic relations with the United States.

Ég bara neita að trúa því að þessar kenningar um "Írak í dag, Sýrland á morgun" plan Rumsfelds séu réttar, þ.e.a.s. að Sýrland sé næsta "frelsun" á dagskrá bandaríska hersins. Ef svo er, þá er ég endanlega algjörlega hættur að skilja nokkuð í neinu hvað gengur á milli eyrnanna á þessum skrattakollum í Washington!
